GLAR (glarcom.com) is a web site that helps groups of people get together: schedule dates, ask who can make it, fill open spots and send reminders. It is run by GlarCom ("GLAR", "we", "us"). By using GLAR you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You must be at least 18 to create an account or run a group. Members of a group can answer offers and polls from the links in their email without an account. A group may be marked a youth group; in a youth group, GLAR sends a child's email to their parent or guardian, not to the child (see the Privacy Policy).
You are responsible for keeping your password private, for everything done under your account, and for telling us at once (with the Feedback button) if you think someone else has used it.
If you run a group (as its leader, manager or account owner) you add other people's details: names, email addresses, phone numbers and what they need at an event. You agree that:
A group that signs itself up starts on the free level: one group, with a limit on how many people its rosters may hold. GLAR may also limit how many emails or messages are sent in a day. We may change these limits, and may later offer paid levels; we will tell account owners before any charge applies to them.
You agree not to use GLAR to:
Everyone using GLAR also agrees to the Community Guidelines, which are part of these Terms.
You keep ownership of what you put into GLAR (rosters, songs, charts, pictures, messages). You let GLAR store, copy and show it only as needed to run the service for you and your group. You are responsible for what you post. We don't routinely read groups' content, but we may remove anything that breaks these Terms, and we will cooperate with law enforcement and court orders. Ideas and feedback you send us may be used to improve GLAR without payment to you.
GLAR shows a few clearly labeled ads and deals from businesses. Each deal is the advertiser's offer, not ours; we don't endorse advertisers and aren't responsible for their goods or services. Advertisers have their own terms at /advertise/rules. Every ad is reviewed before it runs, using automated tools (including AI) and people. An ad that breaks the ad rules or the Community Guidelines may be turned down or taken down without a refund.
GLAR's software, name, logo, design and help pages belong to GLAR or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.
GLAR is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or free of viruses, or that an email will always arrive. Please keep your own copy of anything important (leaders can download a backup of their group at any time).
To the fullest extent the law allows, GLAR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or bookings, arising from your use of GLAR or not being able to use it.
You can stop using GLAR at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account or group that breaks these Terms or harms other people or GLAR.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account owners by email about important changes. Using GLAR after a change means you accept it.
