Deals and your member pass

Businesses that support GLAR offer members a deal. You see a few of them at the bottom of your gig offers and polls, on the page you get when you sign out, and on Deals. Each ad shows to one person a few times a day at most. The business never gets your name, email or band.

  1. Tap a deal to open the business's page. It shows the deal, any fine print, and their website, phone and hours.
  2. Shopping online? Tap Show the online code and type it at their checkout.
  3. At the counter, tap Use this deal. Your member pass opens: your first name, GLAR member since, the deal, a live clock, a moving logo and a 4-digit number that changes every 30 seconds.
  4. Show the screen. Staff can look at it, or type the 4 numbers on their GLAR check page to be sure. A screenshot won't work, because the clock and logo stop.

Use this deal shows when GLAR knows you're a member: you opened GLAR from a gig or poll email, or you're signed in. Youth groups see only ads the site master has checked are fine for under-18s, and don't get a member pass.
