- Go to Advertise. It goes one short page at a time. Fill in your business, your name and email.
- For the picture, upload your logo, or choose No logo? Make a name card. Tap a color and a text style (or press Suggest a look) and add a second line if you like. The preview shows it big and as a small icon. After you pay, your advertiser page has Download your name card for your own signs and menus.
- Pick the size: a Featured tile or an Icon in the bar. Under How long? each choice shows its price; longer runs show what they save, like 2 months free for a year. Pick the day it Starts. The line under them shows the price, how many users you'd reach, and how many users you'd reach. There's always room for your ad. Tick Boost it: be seen first to put your ad at the front of the line, ahead of ads without a boost; the price line shows what it adds.
- Write a Headline and the Deal for GLAR members. Tick Not suitable for 18 and under for alcohol, bars, casinos, gaming, cannabis, vaping or dating.
- Tick the box to agree to the ad rules and press Save and go to payment.
- On your private page, press the green Pay button. You pay on Stripe's page; GLAR never sees your card.
- Your ad is reviewed, usually within a day. You get an email when it's approved, and it runs on its dates. Ads that break the ad rules or Community Guidelines are not refunded.
Your private page (the link we email you) shows each ad's views, how many different people saw it, how many opened your page, saw your code, and used the deal at your counter. There you can add products, edit your description, hours and address (new text shows after a quick check), add another ad, and renew near the end. We email you 2 weeks before an ad ends.
Another ad: on your page press Add an ad. It's the same short steps, with your business already filled in, starting at Who should see it. Keep your picture or pick a new one.
Renewing: press Renew as is for the same ad again, straight to payment. Or press Change and renew to go through the steps with everything filled in, for example to pick a year for 2 months free, change the deal or move the area.
At your counter: press Open your check page and bookmark it on the counter phone or tablet. When a member shows a pass, type the 4 numbers and press Check. It says Good with their first name, or Not valid. It also stops a member using the deal more often than you chose.
