Get started: your first day running the band

Easiest: press Step by step at the top of any page. It goes one short page at a time: your group's name and town, your people, where you meet, and your first date. Later, the same button asks what you want to do: add people, take someone off, change roles, or change the group's details.

Or do it yourself:

1. Open the email called GLAR: set your password, tap the link and choose a password. See Set or reset your password if the link has run out.
2. Open Bands and open your band. No band yet? Press Add a band, or ask the site master to add you. Fill in what you like, then press Save. For a small band, set Usual band size to match your lineup (put 0 for parts you don't have).
3. Open Roster and press Add a player for each person in the band.
4. Open Venues and press Add a venue for the place you're playing.
5. Open Gigs and press Schedule a gig.

Under the header there is a bar that starts with Next:. It always points at the next thing that needs you, such as Next: add your players or Next: choose who gets an offer. Tap it and it takes you there.

Nothing is emailed until you press a button that says so, and GLAR always shows you the email first.
